I was born and grew up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. For college, I relocated slightly south to the New River Valley. After my schoolin’ I moved to less interesting terrain in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. I still manage to get away to some more scenic areas every once in a while.

Shortly thereafter I began working on Foodzie with two friends. The business has taken me to Boulder, Co for an extended period of time. Now it frequently takes me to San Francisco where we are headquartered.

When I’m not getting lost in the woods I’m trying to learn more about starting a business, the web, cooking/food, and leading a semi-balanced life with my wonderful wife, Tara.
